Teen Farmers Fall Curriculum OVERVIEW We teach hands on soil management, growing, harvesting, and all the science behind it. Kids will interact with and learn to care for, groom, and train our animals. We include yoga, art, and science fun in every class. RANCH MANAGEMENT: Responsibility is key to ranch life. Children learn the responsibility of raising farm animals. Feeding and caring for animals, cleaning, and repair work involved. PLANT SCIENCE: Growing Plant life with success. Gardening with problem solving. Plan and plant gardens Start seeds, root plants, and transplant pottings. Soil testing and composting GOATS: Students will become comfortable with goats and their care. Goat anatomy, care, including hooves, feed management, training, and more. We have baby goats due 10-12-23 so seeing a goat birth may also be included. CHICKENS: Exploring the egg cycle, life cycle, anatomy of chickens, and their care. Candling eggs Chicken anatomy Study breeds and uses YOGA & MEDITATION: Introducing teens to Yoga, Meditation, and breathe work to ease emotion and fear. Positive self talk, body image, and kindness will be our focus. Teens participate in Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. Meditation and its different forms and dream journals will be introduced.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations; please contact us 24 hours prior to booking time for 1-2 participants and 48 hours for 3 or more participants to reschedule. Private parties require a 2 week notice to reschedule. You can choose a different date if we receive proper notice. NO REFUNDS
